By using CarJam at carjam.unloko.site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What CarJam is

CarJam is a free web application that allows a group of people to collaboratively manage a music queue during car rides. One person acts as the host and plays music through their device, while others can suggest songs via a shared party code.

Acceptable use

You agree to use CarJam only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Use CarJam while driving — you are solely responsible for your safety and the safety of others
Use CarJam to stream, distribute, or reproduce copyrighted content in violation of applicable laws
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the service or its underlying infrastructure
Use CarJam to harass, abuse, or harm others
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the app

YouTube content

CarJam uses the YouTube Data API to search for and play videos. All playback is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. CarJam does not host, download, or redistribute YouTube content. YouTube Premium is required on the host device for ad-free playback.

No guarantees

CarJam is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted availability of the service
That the app will function correctly on every device or browser
That background audio will work on all platforms (particularly iOS, which restricts web audio)
The accuracy or completeness of search results (provided by YouTube)

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unloko897 is not liable for any damages arising from your use of CarJam, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption of service, or any indirect or consequential damages. CarJam is a free personal project — use it at your own risk.

Intellectual property

The CarJam name, logo, and app design are owned by Unloko897. You may not use them without permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CarJam after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes will be resolved under Romanian law.
